2017 Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament

The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament will be played Thursday-Sunday, March 2-5, 2017, at KeyArena in Seattle. Seattle has proven a great supporter of women’s basketball and the Pac-12 will host this tournament at KeyArena for the fifth year in a row in 2017. The Pac-12 partners with Force 10 Sports Marketing, LLC, the Seattle Sports Commission, and Seattle Center to deliver a dynamic atmosphere for fans and student-athletes at its premier women’s sporting event.

A first look at the 2016-17 Pac-12 women’s basketball teams will come soon as student-athletes and coaches participate in Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Media Day in San Francisco on Thursday, Oct. 20. Pac-12 Network will air a live special that day that will include interviews from student-athletes and coaches as well as an in-depth preview of the season to come.

Last season, five Pac-12 teams earned NCAA Tournament bids, and for the first time ever two Pac-12 teams – Washington and Oregon State – made it all the way to the Final Four in Indianapolis as the Pac-12 re-staked its claim as one of the best women’s basketball leagues in the country. With both of those 2016 Final Four teams calling the Pacific Northwest home and returning much of their talent, the 2017 Pac-12 Tournament promises to be one of the best yet

Sheltered Katya longs to be free of her dull arranged marriage and dreary home life. Recently awakened to true love, she remains dominated by a monstrous mother-in-law. Can Katya’s fragile world survive when her pent-up passions finally burst forth? Acclaimed Australian director Patrick Nolan’s all-new production dives deep into the emotional turbulence lurking beneath the surface of small town respectability

Special Guest Maren Morris

Chris Stapleton comes to Seattle on Tuesday, March 28 with special guest Maren Morris. Tickets go on sale next Friday, October 28 at 10am.

Chris Stapleton boldly introduced himself to the public at-large in 2015 with the release of his breakthrough debut album, Traveller.

Released in May 2015 on Mercury Records Nashville, Traveller initially debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart with more than 27,000 albums sold, making it one of the best-selling first weeks by a debut country artist in 2015. It’s also currently the top selling country album of 2016 and second best across all genres (only surpassed by Adele). Moreover, the album continues to receive extensive critical acclaim and has landed Stapleton bookings on multiple national TV shows including recent appearances on Saturday Night Live and CBS News Sunday Morning.

Following a historic turn on the CMA Awards—where Stapleton became the first artist to win Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the same awards—Traveller became the first album to re-enter the Billboard 200 all-genre album chart at No. 1, where it stayed for two straight weeks.

WHO DOESN’T LOVE A GOOD BROADWAY SHOW?—Before there was Hamilton or An American in Paris, ballet choreographers were offering Broadway-inspired work for the ballet stage. Carousel (A Dance), Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, and West Side Story Suite make for a blockbuster program by artists who not only define dance in our time, but have showcased their inimitable talents on Broadway with some mega blockbusters. You may think you’re at the 5th Avenue Theatre with this rep, but those are our dancers singin’ and hoofin’ in this show-stopping, foot-stomping, sing-a-long triple bill.  –Peter Boal
